The Mans Cave

The Mans Cave was a concept originated long before my time. The men in my family have always had their place of solitude where men could be men and there was no questioning. I now live the city life which means the man cave has been greatly reduced in size. That brought me to create an internet based man cave where all men can join in. Whether geek, gamer, jock, fitness, brewer, BBQ-er, or just looking for a place to read about manly news, you will find a home in the Man Cave

Dallas Wins NBA Championship, LeBron Blames God

Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd, Jason Terry, and Shawn Marion celebrate
Last night in Miami the Dallas Mavericks won their first championship, defeating the Miami Heat 105-95, winning the series 4 games to 2. Dallas star forward Dirk Nowitzki was named Finals MVP, cementing his place as one of a handful of players to in history as a 10 time All Star, NBA champion and Finals MVP. In addition to Dirk, the Mavs received outstanding play from veteran point guard Jason Kidd (finally winning the title after two unsuccessful trips with the New Jersey Nets) and Jason Terry, who stepped up his game after getting called out by Nowitzki. For Terry, winning the championship was making good on a bet he made at the beginning of the season when he got the Larry O'Brien trophy tattooed on his arm.

Dywane Wade, Chris Bosh, and LeBron James celebrate last summer of them joining forces

As big of a story as it was of Dallas winning it all, it was as big of a story of the failure of the Heat to win. This past summer Miami was making all the headlines when LeBron James, Dywane Wade, and Chris Bosh formed the latest "Big Three". When the 'Heatles' were introduced they pretended they were rock stars, having a celebration as if they just won the championship. Unfortunately for the Heat, Dallas also brought their talent to South Beach and had a similar celebration, except this one featured the presence of some notable hardware.

After the game, LeBron did nothing to change the minds of millions of people who dislike him. In the press conference afterwards, LeBron came off as selfish and immature. When asked how he felt about everyone who was happy to see him fail, he responded
“They have to wake up and have the same life that they had before they woke up today … the same personal problems,” James also added “I’m going to continue to live the way that I want to live. … But they have to get back to the real world at some point.”
Yes LeBron, and you will have to wake up still ringless knowing that Brian Scalabrine, Adam Morrison, and Brian Cardinal all have more rings than you. Additionally, the "King" tweeted "The Greater Man upstairs know when it's my time. Right now isn't the time." Of course! God was the one who was responsible for you disappearing every fourth quarter, causing you to post a Finals worst -36, and dropping your scoring average from 26.7 ppg in the regular season to 17.8 ppg in the Finals.
